"What's the difference between the template sets?"
The Basic Set, The Swirl, and the On The Edge series appear to be similar (aside from differences in finished block size), the key is in the "L-Shape" from each set. I made a 2 minute video showing the differences between the Basic, On The Edge, and The Swirl blocks.
